Best car blog on the net. Something has been telling me to move to the greater northwest when I finish school and seeing awesome cars here on your blog definitely helps it make an easy decision. Hope you keep the blog running! Thanks

A

Thank you very much!

You absolutely should! I’m a transplant myself - please let me know if you have questions about making the move.

1963 Studebaker Lark Cruiser - Portland, OR

This is my car, it’s a ‘62 (mostly) and the side marker lights are custom, added by a previous owner

It is a beauty! Let me know if you’re ever up for a photoshoot. danasgoodstuff:

1959 Nash Metropolitan - Portland, OR

It’s older than a 1959.  The 1959 had a trunk lid that opened and didn’t have the fake hood scoop.  This is more likely a 1955 or a 1956.  It’s nice, though.  In the early 1970s, Metropolitans sold for $50 to $400.  Now a car like this may sell for $10,000.

Thanks for the interesting background on the Metropolitan levon76:

I see this car several times a week. It never moves.

It breaks my heart to see them dying on the side of the road. unmitigatedgaul:

Citroen 2CV - Portland, OR

An alleged car in Portland.

I have yet to meet the owners, but there is a small enclave of Citroens in Portland that I see from time to time. I love the flying dust bin, but the DS is my favorite.
